Rejuvenating Staining Wax is designed for rejuvenating surfaces that have faded over time to achieve greater depth of colour and bring back the surface to a nice

How to use: 

Using a cotton cloth, take a small amount of wax from the tin. Always use a flat palm action of your hand to produce an even finish, not your fingertips. Apply in a circular motion covering a small area at a time, then stroke down the length of the grain to finish.

Allow to dry for around 30 minutes, depending on local climatic conditions, or until a squeaking sound is made when the surface is rubbed with your fingertips. After the surface is dry, buff to lustre with a soft, dry cloth to seal and maintain the surface. For greater depth of colour, apply more than one coat.  

Creating a rustic look to the surface can also be achieved prior to application by slightly breaking the surface of the wood to expose raw timber beneath and using the following methods:

By hitting with a chain which will bite into and bruise the surface;

By lightly tapping the head of the nail with a hammer to simulate old woodworm holes and finally by placing a screw on its side and hitting with a hammer to leave a thread edge on the surface.
